Individual Therapy Session

Step 1: A 30-minute discovery call is held to discuss a specific aspect that we want to focus on.

Step 2: The client is given the assignment to create their own artwork, if possible, to film the process of creating the artwork.

Step 3: The client sends the files (artwork and video if applicable) to me.

Step 4: A 60-90 minutes healing session is held, during which we release the tension through body movement & discuss the client's artwork and the process of creating it.

We explore the emotions, memories, and patterns that emerged during the art-making process. We also work on developing a toolbox of coping mechanisms and self-care practices to help the client navigate difficult times in the future. The session can be a combination of talk therapy, somatic practices, and mindfulness techniques to help the client access deeper levels of healing and self-discovery.

  2. Privacy: Individual work allows for a private and confidential setting, which can make some clients feel more comfortable discussing personal and sensitive issues.

  3. Flexibility: Individual work allows for a flexible schedule and the ability to tailor the length and frequency of sessions to the client's needs.

  4. Focus: Individual work allows for the client and me to focus solely on the client's concerns and issues, without any distractions or disruptions.
